thinking ahead about our creeks

As a kid, Tori Vincent played in Sandy Creek — now she works for Melbourne Water helping to improve creeks, most recently on Jacksons Creek.

‘I don’t think I knew it at the time, but just spending time down at the Creek with my family when I was little really shaped my love of these special places.’

Tori studied Environmental Science at university, then landed a job at Melbourne Water, where she worked her way into the River Health team. She’s been part of the rehabilitation of Jacksons Creek across from the Gisborne Bowling Club. It’s been a big job.
